Let your Imagination Fall into a Fairy Fantasy for Anything But a Card Challenges No. 26

Good Morning Everyone! It's time for a new challenge today here at Anything But a Card Challenges... so get ready to play and have some fun! Perhaps you may have noticed the new blog design and the sneak peek tab of upcoming challenges at the top menu bar. Kudos to everyone who shared their "Summer Fun" creations and getting every drop of fun out of our favorite season before the first Fall leaves begin to change.

The new Challenge... Anything But a Card Challenge 26 Fairy Tales or Fairy Theme - let your imagination soar with this theme... you could create something based on any fairy tale, or fairies, room for lots of possibilities! JUST REMEMBER... create anything EXCEPT a card for this challenge :)

**JUST FOR FUN** Here's an idea starter... if you want to channel your own inner Fairy... there is even a Fairy Name Generator. CLICK HERE to generate your very own Fairy, complete with a backstory.

Here is an example of one that was
created with Susan's name:
My fairy name is Ember CatfrostShe watches over small animals. She lives where fireflies mate and breed. She can only be seen during the first snow of winter. She wears dresses that glow with fiery colours and has multicoloured wings like a butterfly.

Let's see what part of our DT has created - and see what they have dreamt up!

Please click on the designers' name to visit their blog.

Sheri
Sheri's project is based off one of the projects from the book Kaleidoscope by Suzanne Simanaitis. CLICK HERE to jump on over to find out all about it and a video, too. :)

Julie

Susan
Susan combined collage, mold-making and greencrafting for this Fairy Shadowbox. CLICK HERE to jump on over to see how she made her "Frozen Fairy Charlotte".

Diana had a little play in her art journal this week. She used some bits and pieces that she found on her desk. The stamp is from some odd girl stamps. Most everything was put down with modge podge; then inked and painted over the top. For the leaves she used a piece of packaging.

We hope our designers have you INSPIRED to sprinkle some fairie dust and spread your wings and create!!! We can't wait to see your creations and we hope that you will join in and share them with us! Stop back next Sunday for more of our Design Team creations!

  1. Yes, I did see the blog cover changes, love the colors! Do mermaids count for the Fairy challenge? Or just fairies? I never am sure where fantasy begins and reality starts...lol ( not that mermaids are real..wink, wink )

    1. Sandee - if you are inspired to create mermaids... They are mythical and fantasy so why not? Have fun creating and I look forward to what you create :) Susan
